Abraham

Abraham was a man who trusted God completely. God told Abraham to leave his home and go to a new land that God would show him. Even though Abraham did not know where he was going, he obeyed and went!

God made a wonderful promise to Abraham. He said Abraham would have more descendants than the stars in the sky! But Abraham and his wife Sarah were very old and had no children. They waited a long time, but they kept trusting God.

Finally, when they were very old, God kept His promise and gave them a baby boy named Isaac! Abraham was so happy. Abraham teaches us to trust God's promises even when we have to wait a long time. God always keeps His word!
