Daniel

Daniel was a young man who was taken far from his home to live in the kingdom of Babylon. Even though he was in a strange land, Daniel never stopped praying to God. He prayed three times every single day!

Some jealous men made a law that said nobody could pray to anyone except the king. But Daniel kept praying to God anyway! The men caught him and told the king, who had to throw Daniel into a den full of hungry lions.

But God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths! The next morning, the king found Daniel completely safe. Not a single scratch! The king was so amazed that he told everyone in his kingdom to respect Daniel's God. Daniel teaches us to be brave and keep praying no matter what!
