David

David was a young shepherd boy who loved God with all his heart. Even though he was the smallest in his family, God chose him to do great things!

One day, a giant warrior named Goliath challenged the army of Israel. Everyone was afraid, but David was not! He trusted God to help him. With just a sling and five smooth stones, David defeated the giant Goliath.

David later became the king of Israel. He wrote many beautiful songs to God called Psalms. The most famous one starts with "The Lord is my shepherd." David teaches us that God can use anyone, no matter how small, to do amazing things!
