Psalm 23:1

King David wrote this beautiful psalm. He used to be a shepherd who took care of sheep, so he knew exactly what a good shepherd does! A shepherd makes sure the sheep have food, water, and are safe from danger.

David is saying that God takes care of us the same way a shepherd takes care of his sheep. When God is our shepherd, we have everything we need. We don't have to worry because God is always watching over us and leading us to good places!
